Empath and Wallow hit The Union in Salt Lake City
Philadelphia based Freak pop band Empath opened for Wallows last Saturday at the Union Event Center in Salt Lake City. The captivating group performed a thirty minute set full of their hit songs. The band's stage presence and performance was undoubtedly impressive. The band is set to perform with Wallows on their US tour along with musicians, Samia and Spill Tab.
The crowd was obsessed with Empath and as they played their set, the audience became more and more attached to them. Empath has been opening for Wallows for the last few months on the US leg of their tour.
After the incredible set, The headlining act, Wallows hit the stage for an hour and a half performing their hits from their beloved album, Tell Me That It’s Over. The band members Cole, Dylan and Braeden met each other years ago after going to a music camp. They immediately clicked.
As soon as Wallow's set began, the crowd went insane. The band started their set off with fan favorite, “I don’t want to talk.” The band played hit after hit connecting with the crowd through it all.
The Wallows show is incredibly captivating and not something to miss. The band is set to play this coming weekend at Austin City Limits and then is headed out of the country to play shows all over the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
