Your presence in the music industry just keeps growing, but how did you get started?

I started showing interest in singing in kindergarten but didn’t take any lessons until I was around 7/8. I did a lot of theatre growing up and I started writing songs at my summer camp Stagedoor manor at the age of 11. I have always loved writing songs and it wasn’t until I was 16 that I realized I could follow that passion and make my dreams a reality.

Your recent songs have shared personal emotions and experiences, specifically about relationships. What does your music mean to you and what do you want your audience to feel?

My music is reflective of what I’m feeling and going through in the moment that I write it. The message of each song is different but I think overall my message is that heartbreak hurts and sucks really bad but it’s not the end of the world and you can find a positive in any situation. The feeling I want people to feel when they listen to my music is one that helps them get through tough times.

Describe your sound for us!

My sound is definitely vocal based chill pop. I love songs that I can hear the person’s voice and emotions in over the track. My sound is very melody heavy and I tend to change my range up in each song. I love experimenting with sounds and finding new unique things to throw in my songs.

What is your personal creative process like?

I write all of my lyrics and melodies with the help of friends or my producer. The other day my friend got broken up with and was devastated so I asked if she would wanna write a song with me about it to get some feelings out. It ended up being so fun and I am so in love with the song. My process is definitely an inconsistent one because sometimes I will write 4 songs in a day about all different things or spend a whole day writing 4 songs about the same situation, it really depends on my mood.

What can we expect to see for you in the next few years?

In 5 years I see myself having three albums out and hopefully touring. My dream is to go on a tour (I don’t care how big or small) and have my listeners singing my songs with me and just being present in the moment letting the music lead them.

I cannot wait to see how your career unfolds and I know amazing things are coming for you. Do you have a message for your readers and fans?

I just want anyone who’s reading this to know that literally anything is possible. I left my hometown at 16 with no idea how I was gonna make this dream work but here I am after a lot of trial and error, highs and lows, making and losing friends, and having a lot of doubts but at the end of the day people are listening and my dream is coming true. Yours can too!
