My Top 7 Picks For The Week

By Willow Bullington

Photo dump posts

Every year, my Instagram timeline is flooded with “yearly dumps.” Many people openly express their disdain for the overflow of posts, and I love them. I love to see the carousel of memories from the past 365 days.

Alix Earle

The diamond of the season, Alix Earle, has taken Tik Tok by storm. The blonde bombshells “Get Ready with Me” are reminiscent of a young Emma Chamberlain, and when her videos show up on your feed, it feels like you are on the phone with an old friend.

2000’s reality TV

I am hesitant to admit that in the past week, I have watched 2.5 seasons of “America’s Next Top Model,” and they do not do reality TV as they did in the early 2000s. The drama of early 2000s reality TV is absurd. However, it is entertaining.

Knitting

I will say while I binged the early season of “America’s Next Top Model,” I was also knitting. This year I decided to DIY my sister's gift (I know I am the sister of the Year), so I broke out my needles and yarn and got to work, and now see why so many people love to knit. I become a  fashion designer crafting her newest collection, stitch by stitch. 10/10 would recommend it.

Creating Pinterest boards

I check Pinterest as if it is the daily news, and I love any excuse to make a new board. So when the week between Christmas and new Year comes around, I spend hours (maybe days) scrolling through Pinterest.

Djerf Avenue Green Pants

I got the Djerf Avenue “Go To Green Pants,” and they are my Go-To. I love these pants so much and think every single person needs these pants.

Big Purses

I admire those who can carry a small dainty purse. I envy you and your ability to consolidate. Every time I prepare to leave the house, I marry Poppins and throw every knick-knack into the bag “just in case.”
