5 fun facts about Anjelika Washington
1. I started a cheerleading squad for autistic high school students with my beautiful mother in my home town of Bakersville, California. I love what we created, providing a safe and creative space for these students to have fun and be in community.
2. I love volunteering! I volunteered before the pandemic at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA) as a volunteer coordinator for families battling serious illnesses. I managed a program that orchestrated activities for siblings to have fun and feel valued.
3. I am a serious foodie. I love trying new restaurants, distinguished flavors and oh yeah, I subscribe to Secret Menu LA.
4. I always wanted to play a super hero. I feel so blessed to able to bring Beth Chapel to life.
5. Activism is a big part of who I am. My parents raised my siblings and I with a heart for giving, advocating for others and ourselves. I make it my business to attend BLM demonstrations every Wednesday afternoon outside of District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s office in downtown Los Angeles.
